Welcome to the Brooklyn Lace Guild 

Founded in early 2016 by Elena Kanagy-Loux, Kaelyn Garcia, and Devon Thein, Brooklyn Lace Guild is an organization devoted to the preservation of traditional lacemaking. We hold monthly meetings to analyze, discuss, and make lace, both historic and modern. Our members include antique lace collectors, historic dress enthusiasts, fashion and textile designers, fiber artists, historians, and more. What we share is a love of the many complex and delicate techniques encompassed in the world of lace. All are welcome to join us!
